They are tasty, sweet, orange “tuberous roots” that aren’t actually potatoes and come from a different family of roots (morning glory). Sweet potatoes contain a higher content of fibre and less starch than regular potatoes, but also contain more sugar. How will you indulge in this tasty, healthy veggie today?
