JUNE 30 - Meteor Watch Day
Meteors are collections of dust and ice from space that enter the atmosphere. As meteors enter Earth's atmosphere, they begin to burn, creating "light" as they streak across the sky. Meteors occur throughout the year, though we aren't as fortunate enough to actually spot them.
Since summer serves us extended evening hours, tonight would be a great night to prepare to enjoy a night out watching the stars, and watching and hoping for the sight of meteors passing by. Will you be lucky enough to spot one!? Enjoy the night.
