![]() JUNE 30 Meteor Watch Day Meteors are collections of dust and ice from space that enter the atmosphere. As meteors enter Earth's atmosphere, they begin to burn, creating "light" as they streak across the sky. Meteors occur throughout the year, though we aren't as fortunate enough to actually spot them. Since summer serves us extended evening hours, tonight would be a great night to prepare to enjoy a night out watching the stars, and watching and hoping for the sight of meteors passing by. Will you be lucky enough to spot one!? Enjoy the night.

![]() JUNE 29 National Hug Holiday Day Here's a tidbit to help start your day. According to NationalToday.com, "Hugging is a simple way to express many different types of affection, from friendly, to intimate, to familial. It’s an action largely limited to primates — while we can find instances of other animals in positions that resemble hugging, there aren’t any other species that do it so frequently, and for so many reasons — and so, in many ways, hugging sets us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom." Interesting!!! This day is dedicated to ones in need of hugs, love, attention. We believe EVERYONE could use a hug every once in a while. Be mindful of senior citizens, elderly, homeless, hospitalized. Extend a warm hug, handshake, cheer. Enjoy! ![]() JUNE 28 Paul Bunyan Day Paul Bunyan was a famous folklore, mythological, lumberjack giant.
