Still Life Painting!

Every art project doesn’t have to be educational, structured, rigid, or a required assignment. Let them paint!

Don’t know what to paint? Let them paint their favorite friend. Simply...

1. Set up an art table or area
2. Grab some paints, palettes, and brushes
3. Let your student choose his friend or subject
4. Let your student choose his paint colors
5. Provide a bowl of clean water and a few rags
6. Supply lots of paper, various sizes (heavier, thicker papers seem to work best)
7. Let them paint away until their heart’s content!​

This painting (pictured) of “Kazmond the Cheetah" is the result of free style painting one homeschool afternoon. VIOLA! Easy peasy lemon squeezy. It was so beautiful, we framed "Kaz!" Enjoy! :)
