Just for you, my fellow home schoolers! Here’s how to make and enjoy a wonderfully interactive, extremely engaging, educationally fun field trip out of one “simple” visit to your very own Bass Pro Shops, specifically the Memphis Downtown Bass Pro Shops. Make that SIXTEEN (16) activities to take advantage of during your visit. Enjoy! :) See video here!)
A few weeks ago, I engaged in a support group discussion about “meeting and greeting.” A recurring concern, it seems, is that most people WANT to feel “welcome” in a group, feel a part of a group by feeling welcomed, but more importantly want to be befriended or approached FIRST! Welllllllll... if the majority of the members each feel the same way, thennnn... who meets who? Who welcomes who? Who ends up feeling welcome in the end? So I thought, this may be a nice chance to share ways on how to BE THE ONE to make the first move, to take the first step in creating possible friends and maybe even long-lasting relationships, AND to give you artistic ideas on how to start the “relationship growth process.”

It amazes me that even home schoolers are no more excited about going “back” to school than traditional students! They seem to suffer from back-to-school blues like most kids. Maybe parents are no more excited about the official first day of school than traditional teachers. So what do you do!? Whelp, AFTER you’ve gathered all items on the school supplies list and completed all the typical “ten things to do to prepare for back-to-school” stuff, how about turning your frown upside down.
